5th-generation pawnbroker, eCommerce enthusiast, a Gemini and Enneagram 3 profile type. I love peloton, traveling, philosophical conversations and being outside. I prefer mountains over the beach, coffee over tea and early mornings over late nights.
Paul Sanford
With over 25 years of experience ranging from startups to large enterprises, Paul specializes in creating product vision, strategy, and leading execution for B2B software companies. He is a full-stack, global product leader spanning end-user applications, APIs, platforms, and partner ecosystems. He started his career as a developer and, prior to Avalara (IPO in 2018, PE Acquisition in 2022), held product roles at Microsoft, Splunk (IPO in 2012) and ExtraHop (PE Acquisition in 2021).

Started working in my dads pawnshop at 9 years old in 1967. Selling guns was my specialty and I was permitted by law to sell a firearm to anyone. 53 years later facilitating selling firearms to consumers is still my specialty. A safe purchase facilitates safer gun ownership. Our mission is to protect the U.S. citizenry, follow the constitution, and create a safer America. My dad would bring home pets randomly - dogs, cat, parrot, cockatiel, and a monkey, who was the shortest to stick around, but the most talked about. Software running your store should be a multi-prong defense ever evolving and adapting. Having the best defense allows your everyday offense to be front of mind and available. We got your back.
